HomeHelpBase is an online directory of cleaning and home maintenance providers. This page explains what that means and what it does not mean.

Directory only. HomeHelpBase is an online directory. We do not provide cleaning services, employ cleaners, manage bookings, take payments, guarantee availability, supervise provider work, or recommend specific providers. Customers contact and engage listed providers directly.

What HomeHelpBase is

  • An online directory that publishes public business information about independent cleaning and home maintenance providers.
  • A way for customers to find listed providers and contact them directly using the contact details shown on the listing.

What HomeHelpBase is not

  • HomeHelpBase is not a cleaning business and does not provide cleaning services itself.
  • HomeHelpBase does not employ, sub-contract, or supervise any cleaner, maid, or maintenance provider.
  • HomeHelpBase is not a marketplace and does not handle bookings, quotes, payments, or scheduling between customers and providers.
  • HomeHelpBase does not guarantee the availability, performance, qualifications, licensing, insurance, or conduct of any listed provider.
  • HomeHelpBase does not rank or recommend specific providers.

Listings and information

Listings are based on public business information and information provided by the businesses themselves. HomeHelpBase makes reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate but does not warrant that any listing is complete, current, or error-free. If you are a listed provider and need to correct information, see update or remove a listing.

Reviews

HomeHelpBase does not currently publish customer reviews. Any review functionality, if introduced in future, will be governed by its own policy and announced separately.

Customer responsibilities

Customers contact and engage listed providers directly. Before engaging a provider, customers should independently confirm:

  • Pricing, scope of work, and inclusions.
  • Insurance coverage, where relevant.
  • Licensing or qualifications, where required by law.
  • Cancellation, refund, and dispute terms.

Any agreement or transaction is solely between the customer and the provider. HomeHelpBase is not a party to that agreement.

Provider responsibilities

Listed providers are responsible for the accuracy of their listed information and for complying with all laws applicable to their business. HomeHelpBase may decline or remove any listing at its discretion.
